メッセージは英文で、その内容は「自分の興味あるもの、心からやりたいことをやることが大切で、 会社の名前や人からの賞賛ばかりを意識せず、自分のやりたいことに生きることも考えてほしい。」というものでした。

"Do what you are interested in." - People should live that motto because it's difficult to be happy if you aren't doing something that interests you.

Even though there are many obstacles and many other factors that are easily considered when it comes to careers (salary, etc.), one should ignore those things and focus only on going after what interests one.

講演後には質疑応答が行われました。その中であった「チームでの研究なので、コミュニケーションをとったり、チームをまとめたりすることが必要になる。一人でできる研究はありません。」という言葉が印象的でした。
